A Safe Place is a musical set in the snowy wonderland of wintery small town, haunted by recession and depression. The frozen lake at the center of the town’s white landscape is the melancholic environment where Oliver and Laura’s love feels protected. They test its solidity dancing and singing on the slippery surface. Yet soon the ice starts to crack.
